The Great Easter Egg Hunt

I am convinced kids are born knowing who Santa and the Easter Bunny are. However, I'm not completely certain they totally understand the whole concept that each of these characters bring treasures and treats galore. We had our first official Easter egg hunt with the kids. They had fun picking up the eggs in the yard but they didn't quite understand the goal is to get as many as you can and THEN open the eggs up. Nope, they preferred to open them as they went. Well...I suppose we have some coaching to do in sport of egg hunting. Check our our Easter festivities.

Wow, a purple egg!
The art of coloring eggs
Patience my dear
The Easter Bunny was here!
Jellybean anyone?
Oh boy, a bright green chick!
Happy Easter!
Lulu and Papa were here to participate in the festivities
Oh Papa! More eggs!
I'll just go ahead and eat this melty Reeses egg
This egg hunt is serious business
Just strolling by the playset
Ooh...there's one right here
I think I can get another jellybean out of this one
Jack, there will be no negotiating or trading
