Happy Halloween

As life gets busier with two growing, curious toddlers it sure gets to be more and more fun. We had such a great time celebrating Halloween yesterday. It was a loooong day! The festivities started with a breakfast treat and continued late into the night. The kids had their first Halloween party at school and we participated in the family "Trunk or Treat" at Primrose. John did an amazing job transforming our swagger wagon into the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Honestly, trick-or-treating in the neighborhood was kind of a let down after the fun school event. It was super cold last night so we didn't last long ringing doorbells. Wow, we're tired today.

Spider Eggs for breakfast
(nothing like sugaring them up before school)
These are creepy fun
Story time with Ms. Reutter, aka Mrs. Potato Head

Wow, Elsa is everywhere with her pal Olaf these days.
The Great Pumpkin is certainly timeless.
Who knew there would be movies and popcorn at this event?
Dad, his masterpiece and two cuties
Go ahead Jack, Cookie won't bite your finger.
Trick or Treat
Well those are some sharp teeth and that's a creepy tongue.
Taking a break, checking out our loot.
Repurposing the ears for the nightime party.
Love this kid!
How bout a TV dinner before neighborhood trick-or-treating?
A little sibling love
Had to check on the garden troll
Garden Giggles
Can I get any cuter?
What? My hands aren't that big.
Tried to a get a traditional front step pic but failed this year.
This is the best it gets.
Well, our jack-o-lanterns didn't make it this Halloween.
Lesson learned: Don't carve too far in advance when the weather is still warm.
Nanny J and Mr. Ronnie celebrated with us too.
She's helping us sort our goodies and open them for taste testing.
Looks like we dropped a few and left them behind.
Mr. Ronnie, there's a witch in this book. She made Halloween Pie.

Fall Fever

We are loving this warm October weather. We are certainly in the Halloween preparation mode. We carved pumpkins at Jessy's and got to meet her new little boy, Lincoln. We had fun at the Night of the Living Farm in our costumes. Sunday we had a play day at home and loved jumping in leaves. Oh and our first family homework assignment is due tomorrow so I had some crafting to do this evening. Still cheering on the Royals even though they didn't play so well tonight. Getting nervous about this series but glad they are coming home for games 6 and 7. We have another full week ahead of us with Halloween and the World Series coming to an end.
