Fall Fever

We are loving this warm October weather. We are certainly in the Halloween preparation mode. We carved pumpkins at Jessy's and got to meet her new little boy, Lincoln. We had fun at the Night of the Living Farm in our costumes. Sunday we had a play day at home and loved jumping in leaves. Oh and our first family homework assignment is due tomorrow so I had some crafting to do this evening. Still cheering on the Royals even though they didn't play so well tonight. Getting nervous about this series but glad they are coming home for games 6 and 7. We have another full week ahead of us with Halloween and the World Series coming to an end.

The Great Pumpkin Hunt

What a beautiful day it was for a trip to the pumpkin patch. We had a fabulous time hunting for the biggest and best pumpkin in the patch. Also had some fun watching pig races, playing in a fun sandbox, checking out bales of hay, and running through mazes. As our good friend Todd says, "True Americana."

Look, a pumpkin fairy house.
Show me how to play tic-tac-toe with ladybugs and bees please.
It may not be the beach, but it's still fun.
Waiting for the pig races to begin.
(Notice the 3 little pigs' houses. Hope asked where the wolf was)
We've grown a little since last year
I think there are a lot of pumpkins to choose.
Just strollin' through the patch.
Will this one pass inspection?
If only I could really turn Hope into a pumpkin.
Found one just my size!
I think this one will do for me.
And the Great Pumpkin Hunt is complete!
Loving our day of FFF (Forced Family Fun)
We are tired, hungry, patiently waiting for a hot dog and listening to the band.

This & That (and feeling a little Royal around here)

It seems as though all of Kansas City has blue fever. We would not claim to be super sports fanatics at our house but with the Royals heading to the World Series it's hard not to get caught up in all of the hoopla and excitement. In addition to having baseball on the brain, the kids also had their first school event we attended a few weeks ago. They studied cultures around the world and celebrated with a cultural parade. They represented Mexico. My guess is that Mrs. Mendoza, one of their teachers and fellow twin herself, had something to do with it. Also included are some other random fun pics.

Our Royals Cheer

These two are TOO cute!
Yep, I'm a Royals Girl
I am a ladies man and will charm you with my dimple.
Of course he's the caddy. Would you expect it to be different?
Pure silliness
A leader already!
Check out our sombreros.
A fancy tutu once in a while is always fun.
Taking a break at the farm, munching on kettle corn, YUM-O!
This is good stuff.
