We recently embarked on a 10 day adventure in the midwest. It started with a stop in the Quad Cities to spend some time with family. There is never any down time when we are there. We cram as much in as we possibly can, see as many people as we can and eat our way through our favorite places. After five days we took a short overnight break from family to visit my best friend Mary and her family in Chicago. She has twin girls so it's super special for us to have our kids together. Although they are different ages, they all had a blast. Here's a snapshot of the first part of our fun.
